What is the Epona Project?

The Epona project is a 10 week Experiential Equine-Assisted Learning program aimed at empowering young women to actualize their potential and develop leadership skills.  The group meets once a week for two hours and utilizes peer interaction and ground activities with horses.  Some of these team building ground activities include: grooming, leading, tacking, and moving a small herd through an obstacle course.  SHHRC is taking applicants now.  Due to a generous grant, this is a cost free program. We are accepting applications now for our Spring program. For more information contact Judith @201-774-9236 or visit our website at www.shhrc.org
