Hunterdon Peace Coalition Announces The First Annual Poetry Contest
Poem Topic: “What Peace Means to Me”
Judged on: artistic merit, power of the message and its strength as a catalyst for promoting peace. Any length okay.
Eligibility: Participants must be students in grades 9 – 12 and live or attend school in Hunterdon County.
Deadline: May 1. 2008
Submission: E-mail poem to hpcpoetrycontest@embarqmail.com with Subject Line: HPC Poetry Contest. Include the following information before the Title of your poem:

Note: Only one entry per person. No group entries.
Prizes!!!!
1st Prize - $250
2nd Prize - $100
3rd Prize - $50
All participants will receive certificates of honorable mention for their participation and a $100 discount certificate towards SAT preparation at the Tutoring Club in Flemington.
Recognition:
Announcements will also be made at the winner’s school and in the Local newspapers. Poems may also be published in local newspapers.
