NORWESCAP Child & Family Resource Services is offering a training, Helping Children Manage Stress on Thursday, February 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Brenda Buxbaum, Site Manager with NORWESCAP CFRS will look at some of the common sources of stress as well as strategies to use with children dealing with stress. Childhood is often thought of a time of freedom from worries, responsibilities, and stress, yet studies show that children are being negatively impacted by stress.  This training is designed for licensed child care centers, preschool and school age programs as well as registered family child care providers. The training will take place at NORWESCAP CFRS office on Main Street in Flemington.  There is a minimal registration fee of five dollars.  Interested individuals may contact NORWESCAP CFRS at 908-782-8183 to register for this training.    NORWESCAP is a non-profit community action agency established in 1965 that creates opportunities for over 30,000 low-income people in northwest NJ by providing a large portfolio of self-sufficiency and emergency services.  The mission of NORWESCAP is “Fighting Poverty.  Creating Opportunities.  Changing Lives.”
