A Family of Friends Day Care, Alexandria Township:

“I wanted to send in a review for A Family of Friends daycare located in Alexandria Township. I send my 4 month old daughter to A Family of Friends and what a family it has turned out to be. I am a first time mom who was so worried about going back to work and leaving my new baby in the hands of strangers. After having my daughter at A Family of Friends for a week I was hooked. The owners provide a very structured and loving environment. I have seen such a difference in my daughter as her routine has become so regular. I would highly recommend this daycre to anyone. From one very nervous mom who can now enjoy her full time job in a relaxed mode knowing that my daughter is being very well cared for!” — Jennifer Tavormina”

Hunterdon County YMCA Program Reviews:

“My oldest goes to the 2-1/2 year old tot time program and I have found it to be great! My daughter really enjoys it and I think that it has been a great precursor to going to regular preschool. Her teacher is Mrs. Lobenberg, and it is completely evident that she not only loves all the kids but she really loves working there. I have found all the staff to be kind, loving and courteous. The director is a wonderful woman who always listens to your concerns and never makes you feel as if you are wasting her time. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and needless to say I have a few concerns about leaving her, but they have all made me feel confident that they are aware of her needs and do not over look them. — Hunterdon Mom Tammy”

“My daughter not only received the best possible care in a home-setting, from the age of two, but the best possible education. She began kindergarten reading extremely well,counting beyond 100, and being able to use a computer. Skills normally taught in kdg. Due to this my daughter was able to participate in an accelerated reading program in school, a program that combines her reading ability with her ability to operate a computer. Time is spent each day with each parent to review what their child had accomplished so that he/she could share in the child’s successes. I would highly recommend to any parent that this be their first choice!”

Review of Tracey’s Home Child Care in Clinton:

“I have to say that since my two children have been under the care of Tracey I have seen a difference. Tracey is very caring and attentive and I trust her with the care of my children. Her home day care is welcoming for the learning experience and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. I would highly recommend Tracey.” — Hunterdon Mom Barbara

Review of Tiny Treasures Child Care in Clinton:

“Suzanne’s loving and caring spirit is so strong that we truly believe she cares for our daughter as if she were her own. Suzanne is not just our “babysitter.” She is a trusted friend who nurtures, educates and adores our daughter. There is nothing more we could ask for. Trying to find the perfect person to leave your child with can be extremely stressful and challenging. However, Suzanne made it very easy for us.” — Hunterdon Parents Janine and Ron

Awesome Kids Club, Holland Township:

“My children have been attending Awesome Kids Club for a year now and they absolutely love it. I am a new resident of Holland and have a 4-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old daughter. Having no support system in place, I was relieved to find Alison. Alison is a caring individual who put my children and their needs first. She assisted with homework, helped develop my younger child to get her ready for kindergarten, and even tackled toilet training. Alison’s curriculum is based on reinforcing what my child learned at school as well as the values and responsibilities my husband and I were trying to instill at home. Her certifications and knowledge about how to deal with my Type 1 Diabetic child was the deal sealer. All of this definitely put my mind at rest while I was at work.” — Hunterdon Mom Tammy

Little Angels Preschool in Flemington:

A Hunterdon Mom Rates Little Angels Preschool as EXCELLENT overall with the following comments. “This is an excellent school and I highly recommend it to those looking for a traditional preschool program.”

Lyn’s Family Daycare in Flemington:

Hunterdon Mom Andrea offers the following review: “My son has been with Lyn since he was an infant and now he is 5 and goes after school. He loves it there! Lyn provides a safe, clean, fun, and happy home environment. She is dependable and always willing to work with me. She prepares healthy meals and snacks. The kids grow up together in a familiar and safe extended family setting. I would recommend Lyn’s Family Daycare to anyone!”

Whitehouse United Methodist Church Nursery School:

A Hunterdon Mom rates this school as Excellent Overall and offers the following comments: “This is an excellent preschool. Long time teachers who really love what they do. Both of my children attend(ed) and I have had no complaints.”

KinderCAP in Oldwick:

Hunterdon Mom Jennifer has the following comments: “KinderCAP Christian Preschool teaches children in a fun, lively environment. The teachers are wonderful, giving love and hugs to show the children that they are truely loved. Chidren learn through stories of the bible and they learn prayers. It is the most wonderful preschool around.”

Another Hunterdon Mom rates this school as excellent overall with the following comments: “This is a wonderful, warm, Christian preschool located at the Oldwick United Methodist Church. The school teaches an academic curriculum using bible stories as the basis for teaching. The children learn all the basics-alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes etc. but also learn about the bible. The teachers are terrific in every way and spend lots of one on one time with the children. In addition, they offer music and aerobics classes after school. I highly recomend this school for anyone looking for a loving, fun, Christian program for their preschoolers.”
