Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm consists of 145 acres of which nearly 40 acres are planted in Christmas trees. The remainder of the farm is planted in corn, clover and hayfields. The farm is surrounded by open space with spectacular views of several mountains. Visitors often remark that it is “hard to believe such a beautiful spot exists in New Jersey” and “it feels like West Virginia”.
The farm was started as a family effort in 2003 and was the realization of a lifelong dream for the Alpaugh family. Three generations are involved with the farm. The youngest ‘tree farmers’ in the Alpaugh family are now 3 1/2 years old and 8 months old and will hopefully grow up to enjoy the farm as much as their parents and grandparents.
We have developed our Choose-N-Cut Christmas tree farm to cater to families and the traditional use of REAL Christmas Trees as the centerpiece of the the holiday festivities. We believe the trip to the Christmas tree farm, searching for the perfect tree, and cutting the tree amid a friendly atmosphere will become a family tradition for our customers. The experience of fresh air, farm atmosphere and rows and rows of evergreens will produce lasting memories and revive family ties. We have seen first hand that even teen-agers smile and help out with the selection and cutting of the family tree!!
