As a fine artist, master photographer, and working professional Donna Marie Bailey still accepts commissioned assignments from select national and international clientele.  She was educated at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and her stunning imagery has appeared in major print venues for over 20 years.  However, her first and foremost love of the medium is reflected in the work she does for Children’s Photo Workshop, now nicknamed “CeePW.”   With 35mm camera in hand, delightful ease, and genuine fondness for people of all ages, she very simply still loves what she is doing.

“Let kids do what they do best … be themselves. Playing along and shooting when they let me is great fun.  They don’t always cooperate right away, and there’s no expectation for them to.  If wearing their favorite old t-shirt, or new fairy wings, makes them happy, all the better.  Whatever they are engaged in, when looking through the lens, there is always something special happening. That’s my celebration of everyday-ness.  Of pure…whatever. Who needs a holiday?  Let’s celebrate…whenever.  And let them be whoever…Shirley Temple or Darth Vader, a bumblebee, or better yet, nothing at all.  Each kid is adorable, and in a wonder-filled world of their own.  I celebrate that wonder with them… whenever and wherever.  They let me capture glimpses of their beautiful spirit, expressing itself in what they are doing in the moment.  I simply offer it back to those who love them most.”
