The Good News Home for Women in Flemington offers support to family members and other loved ones of the chemically addicted. Friends of Suzanne is a non-profit cancer awareness and support group. We were incorporated in October 2005, and our mission is to support Hunterdon, Warren and Somerset County residents men, women and children how are facing a cancer diagnosis. Our namesake was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer in May of this year, immediately following the birth of her first child. Our mission is to raise awareness via support groups, speaking engagements with local medical professionals, and to raise funds to support the patients as well as their families, during treatment, recouperation and even after the patient succombs to the disease. Pregnancy Support Group meets every other Saturday at 10am in Pohatcong Township (Warren County) near Bloomsbury. This group is for women of all stages of pregnancy, to learn from each other and ask questions or talk about their concerns. It is for women only, no kids so that moms can focus and relax.
